Secondly, the mind is always seeking something more, so it will never be satisfied. So the only way is to go beyond objects and into awareness of itself.

If the mind is like the waves of the sea, then TM is like diving through the waves down to calm waters. Ultimately, you settle down in the space between your thoughts.

This space, between your thoughts, is pure consciousness, a field of possibilities, a field of creativity, pure creativity, pure intelligence and pure love.

And you don't have to go anywhere to find it. Pure consciousness is just the simplest form of your own awareness, located at the source of thought.

The technique involves allowing the mind to be aware but be uninvolved on the level of meaning.

It obeys or rather identifies with the so called Unified Field described by quantum physics. This Unified Field underlies and governs everything in the universe.

The sound of a given or chosen mantra has a harmonizing, life-supporting effect at subtle levels of the mind.

And when it is repeated at given intervals, it makes the mind to settles into the transcendent. The body descends into a deeper and deeper state of restfulness.

And since the mind is not engaged meaning of the sound or word, it is free to take its natural direction - straight toward the source of thought.

At the source of thought, you experience this field of pure bliss, pure consciousness, pure creativity, pure intelligence, pure love.

Your experiencing it enlivens this field and makes it grow. You start unfolding your full potential and becoming more powerful from the inside and create a powerful influence of harmony in your environment.

If a small fraction of the population were constantly achieving this state, through the law of universal influence the effect would be tremendously good for society.
